Commissioning Brief: A Key Means Nothing Alone
Summary
The commissioning brief for one volume explaining what this site actually built, why the concepts underneath it are shaped the way they are, how it composes with RiskMandate.ai — and, as an equal partner to all of that, what none of it proves. Seventeen chapters in five parts, plus front matter, an appendix carrying the capture harness, a colophon and a reference card. It specifies twelve figures each taken from the release tag its caption names, a provenance rule separating what this estate states from what the writing session drew, a chapter written as a contract with the RiskMandate team, and an acceptance test that fails the book if a reader finishes believing the register is trustworthy. The book does not exist. The brief is published first on the same principle as the four rules: a specification that arrives after the thing it describes cannot be used to check it.

Key ideas
- The acceptance test: if a reader finishes believing the register is trustworthy, the book has failed — however well it reads.
- The honesty positions travel inside the chapters. A reader who quotes any chapter in isolation must still carry them.
- Blending what the estate states with what the writer concluded is the same error as apparent authority: nobody decided it, and it binds anyway.
- Every number in the book is computed from the repository at the moment of writing — including the numbers this brief quotes, which may already be wrong.
- One book, one fresh session, so the argument has a single voice.
On this site
Commissioned at v0.1.33 and revised to draft-2 at v0.1.34, after all three
of the sibling estate's commissioned books finished and two of
them turned out to carry disciplines stronger than draft-1 had specified. The book itself is
on the bench at state specified, with its own does_not_prove.
Draft-1 is superseded, not deleted.
